David Wyatt is an award-winning documentary photographer focusing on Landscape as a cultural formation, providing societies conceptually with a sense of place.

Wyatt gained his MA in International Photojournalism, Documentary Photography and Travel Photography from the University of Bolton undertaken at Dalian Medical University in Dalian, China, and his BA(Hons) Documentary Photography from the University of Wales, Newport.

Wyatt is currently undertaking Doctoral research at Plymouth University within the Land/Water and the Visual Arts research group investigating how photographic practice can reveal the influence of legislation over our geographical imagination of the landscape of the Mendip Hills. This research project is being supervised by Professor Jem Southam, Professor Liz Wells and Dr Simon Standing.
